NVT joins with Commvault and Nexsan to host the first

'Back To The Classroom' event!

On Friday the 17th of February, Commvault and Nexsan joined NVT for the launch of the first in a series of 'classroom' events.

At 3:30pm in Kelvingrove Art Gallery in Glasgow the event kicked off with an opening presentation by NVTs CTO, Tommy Mitchell.

Following on from Tommy, Commvault Client Account Manager- UK/I North Andy Stewart gave an interesting overview of current business issues related to data storage, backup, archiving and deduplication technologies and the advantages associated with Commvault's Simpana 9 R2 . Brian Stewart then went through the more technical side for our 'geekier' audience members!

Mark Sproson, regional sales manager of Nexsan took the audience through the newest Nexsan product offerings, outlining the advantages of their flexible storage platforms.

NVT was recently presented with an award in Las Vegas as the 'Fastest Growing European Nexsan Parter 2010/11'

After the presentations it was time for our competition to win an iPad and iCade gaming system and after a series of close calls (and some rapid button pushing!) Stephen Reid from Aggreko PLC  beat the rest of our attendees to walk away with the gaming system!
