Alfred, who has a 50% shareholding of the group, was appointed Managing Director of NVT Computing Limited in 1994 and held that position until becoming Chairman of NVT Group in 2006.
Before joining NVT Group Alf was Scottish Regional Technical Services Manager with Systime in 1976. He held that post until moving to Xios Systems in 1985 where he became European Technical Services Director.
Alfred Weir has been in the computer industry since joining Honeywell in 1968 as a mainframe systems test engineer. This year will mark his 45th year in the IT industry.

Recently through acquisitions Stephen, who has a 50% shareholding of the group, created the NVT group of companies. Stephen changed roles from being Sales Director to Managing Director in January 2006. His hobbies are golf, skiing and walking.
In 1983 he started with Novotech Microsystems as Sales Director.
Stephen spent his early sales career with Canon UK selling photocopiers and facsimile machines and in 1983 he started with Novotech Microsystems as Sales Director. Being self motivated with drive and enthusiasm for the IT industry it wasn’t long before Stephen started NVT Computing in 1988.

Graeme was appointed Operations Director on 30th April 2006.
He has been with NVT for 17 years, initially as a programmer, followed by four years as technical manager and five years as technical director. He was instrumental in the turnaround of the business during that time.
Since taking on the role of running Operations, Graeme has led the team to define its strategic focus in the premium end of IT and deliver great service in this area, as well as leading the management team in expanding the Group's capability.

Tommy joined the Group in November 2005 through the acquisition of Wisdom IT where he held the roles of Technical Director and CEO.
He entered the IT services market in 1985 and has worked continuously in the industry ever since as an engineer, consultant and manager for startup and UK national service providers before joining the fledging Wisdom IT in 1997.
Tommy’s role in the Group is to set the vision for the company’s solutions and service offerings through listening to clients’ requirements, monitoring business trends and evaluating emerging technologies.

Ash has over 8 years' experience in the new media industry and has provided solutions for various clients.
Ash is a University of Paisley Graduate in New Media Technologies and has a wealth of knowledge on the latest technologies in the market place. Ash’s role as Flame Multimedia’s Sales Director is business development, sales, and marketing.
Ash also keeps abreast of current and emerging technologies in the market place and aligns these with business issues to create solutions and services which deliver tangible business value to our clients. Ash has expert knowledge in e-business and online marketing strategies and has worked on numerous campaigns helping organisations develop their online presence.
