NVT Group has been successfully appointed to three public sector frameworks, namely the Scottish Government’s Cloud Services Framework, the Scottish Government’s Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS2.0) and the UK Government’s G-Cloud 11 framework.
Cloud Services Framework
NVT Group is one of just 14 suppliers who have been appointed by Scottish Procurement to the Scottish Government’s new “Cloud Services Framework”. The framework has replaced the previous “Hosting Services Framework” and has been created to support the Scottish Government’s digital strategy.
Services which are in scope for the Cloud Services Framework are:
- public cloud
- private cloud
- hybrid cloud
- community cloud
- cloud transition services
The framework can be accessed by central government, the health sector, local authorities, universities & colleges, the third sector and other public bodies.
Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS2.0)
NVT Group has also been appointed to the Scottish Government’s Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of digital technology services.
The DPS supports and is an enabler for a number of digital initiatives, specifically “Scotland’s Digital Strategy, ‘Realising Scotland’s full potential in a digital world” and provides access to a range of digital technology skills, including cyber expertise, as well as supporting the delivery of agile projects.
This replaced the Scottish Government’s DPS1.0 for Digital Services and the Digital and Technology Services (DATS) Framework (of which NVT Group was also an appointed supplier) which expired in 2019.
Scottish public sector organisations can procure our services through the DPS by inviting us to tender for in scope services. These services include:
- Digital technology projects
- Digital technology resources
- Cyber security services
Like the Cloud Services Framework, the DPS2.0 can be used by central government, the health sector, local authorities, universities & colleges, the third sector and other public bodies.
NVT Group has also been appointed to the G-Cloud 11 Framework, which allows UK public sector bodies to choose and buy cloud computing services, as follows:
Lot 1 : Cloud Hosting

deploy, manage and run software provision and use of processing, storage or network resources.
Lot 2 : Cloud Software
Software as a Service (SaaS) applications, usually accessed over the internet or private network and hosted in the cloud.
Lot 3 : Cloud Support
