Stephen spent his early sales career with Canon UK.  In 1983 he started with Novotech Microsystems as Sales Director.

In 1988, Stephen founded NVT Computing.

In January 2006, having created the NVT Group of companies, Stephen changed roles from Sales Director to Managing Director.  In his eleven year tenure as Managing Director, he delivered greater profitability for the Group and doubled turnover.

In November 2017, Stephen became Group Executive Chairman of NVT Group Ltd.

Stephen is self-motivated, with drive and enthusiasm for ICT and is now a 30+ year veteran in the industry.  His hobbies are golf, skiing and walking.

Hamish Fraser became a Director of NVT Group in January 2013, having been a member of the senior management team since 2005.

Hamish has had a very successful tenure as Head of Business Solutions, where his responsibilities included bid creation and achieving client business objectives via the development of operational ICT improvement programmes.

He has led the larger scale public and private procurement opportunities which have contributed to the Group’s growth year on year. In 2012, Hamish led the bid team for the Technology Services Integrator contract awarded to NVT Group by the Commonwealth Games Federation for Glasgow 2014.

Hamish was appointed Group Managing Director of NVT Group in November 2017.

Dougie was appointed as Group Operations Director on 1st April 2021.

Dougie joined NVT Computing in 1995 and reached his 25 year anniversary with the Group in 2020.

During this time, Dougie has held a number of different roles, initially as Systems Engineer, followed by Pre-Sales Manager and then most recently as Group Sales Director where he managed NVT Group’s Business Development Team.

Dougie is now responsible for the smooth running of NVT Group’s day-to-day Operations, including the management of our Systems Engineers, Service Desk and Projects teams.

He joined NVT Group in 2004 and was appointed Future Technology Group Director in 2016. As part of that role, he was responsible for the introduction of new technologies to the benefit of NVT Group and its clients and he also led the Future Capability Group of Senior Technologists.

William successfully developed Concepta Network Wellness technology for use at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. Since then, Concepta has been deployed at four additional world-class sporting events. William has also developed the solution further to incorporate cyber security monitoring for NVT Group clients.

William will have a pivotal role in our engagement as Official IT Services Provider at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.

George joined NVT Group as Group Finance Director full time in May 2016.  For eleven years prior to that he provided accounting services to NVT Group on a part time and ad hoc basis as a consultant.

George trained in the profession, becoming a partner in Macharg Hourston Macfarlane in 1993.  The firm merged with two others to become French Jarvie Macharg later in that year.  In 1996, he was enticed into industry by the firm’s largest client, the Castleview Group.  George would spend seven years with Castleview Group before setting up his consultancy business, specialising in accounting systems and projects.  George brings a wealth of accounting knowledge and experience to NVT Group, which facilitates the development of back office systems and processes.

Alfred was appointed Managing Director of NVT Computing Limited in 1994 and held that position until becoming Chairman of NVT Group in 2006 – a post which he held until December 2016.

Before joining NVT Group Alf was Scottish Regional Technical Services Manager with Systime in 1976. He held that post until moving to Xios Systems in 1985 where he became European Technical Services Director.

Alfred Weir has been in the computer industry since joining Honeywell in 1968 as a mainframe systems test engineer.

Irene is the PA to NVT Group’s Board of Directors and joined the business in 2013.

Irene also manages our reception desk & administration teams and looks after our internal HR processes.

She is fully engaged in our ‘NVT Cares’ initiatives, sits on our charity fundraising committee and is an influencer in our Young Persons Focus Group.

Tommy entered the IT services profession in 1985 and he has worked continuously in the industry ever since. He works closely with NVT Group as a Technical Consultant.

Tommy joined NVT Group in November 2005 through the acquisition of Wisdom IT where he held the roles of Technical Director and CEO. During his tenure as NVT Group Technical Director, he successfully managed the delivery of our engagements at six world-class sporting events.

Oscar joined NVT Group in 2017 as a Modern Apprentice and is currently one of the Systems Engineers on our Service Desk.

He is also the Chair of our Charity Fundraising Committee and is a participant in our Young Persons Focus Group.

Oscar likes movie thrillers and a mix of alternative rock and hip-hop music.

Martin joined NVT Group in 2006 and is one of our Consultants.

He is one of the Technical Account Managers on our Service Desk, which means he provides extra and specialist support to the team whenever it is required.

According to Martin, “Every day is a school day”!

His all-time favourite movie is Goodfellas and he enjoys Indian food.

Scott was appointed NVT Group Service Desk Team Leader in 2021. He managed the Systems Engineers and provides additional support when required.

He enjoys books by Dan Brown and the city he would most like to visit is Tokyo.

Gordon joined NVT Group in May 2006 and is one of our Field Systems Engineers, which means he provides support services to clients on their premises.

He says that working on the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games was one of his career highlights.

His favourite author is Ian Rankin and enjoys music from the likes of The Foo Fighters, Johnny Cash and Bryan Adams.

Stephen has been with NVT Group since 2018 and is a Team Leader on the NVT Group Service Desk and so he manages the Systems Engineers and provides additional support where required.

Stephen enjoys mountain climbing and wild camping. His favourite film is ‘Goodfellas’.

Andrew joined NVT Group in 2022 and is a Key Account Director in our New Business team.

Lesley has worked with NVT since 2004 and is the Team Leader for the NVT Group Customer Service Team.

The Customer Service Team will be the first to respond to any of your request for IT support.

Lesley’s all-time favourite film is ‘Angel’s Share’ and her favourite author is James Patterson.

Richard has been with NVT Group since July 2004.

He is one of the Systems Engineers on the NVT Group Service Desk.

Daniel joined NVT Group in June 2021 as a Modern Apprentice. Although he will receive training across all NVT Group departments during his Apprenticeship, his main role is to provide support services on our Service Desk to NVT Group clients.

He enjoys Marvel movies and listening to chart music on Spotify.

John’s career with NVT Group spans more than two decades, having joined the group in 1999. He is one of our Field Systems Engineers, which means he provides support services to clients on their premises.

John is also one of our Aiir Networks Connectivity Support Engineers.

Lorraine has been with NVT Group since 2012 and is Customer Service Co-ordinator.

The Customer Service Team will be the first to respond to any of your requests for IT support.

Lorraine’s favourite book is ‘The Help’. She loves Indian curry and is a fan of the movie, ‘Ghost’.

Graham joined NVT Group in 2013 and is responsible for marketing activity across all NVT Group companies, including planning, communications, brand guardianship, creative campaign development and campaign execution.

Since 2013, Graham has managed the activation for a total of four NVT Group sporting event sponsorships, including the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and the Glasgow 2018 European Championships. He is currently working on our sponsorship activation for the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

Graham is also responsible for internal communications and is actively involved in employee engagement and charity committee activities.

He is a self-professed brand nerd, worships regularly at the house of Minogue and truly believes that “One Bad Ad Can Ruin Your Whole Day”.

Griogair joined NVT Group in 2021 is our Business Analyst and provides pre-sales support to our New Business Team.

Lisa joined NVT in 1998 and has worked in a variety of roles.

She was appointed Service Desk Co-ordinator in 2021 and is responsible fore the smooth running of the Service Desk.

She loves the Harry Potter books and enjoys all kinds of music, including from the 1980s.

Dietmar is one of NVT Group’s Business Development Managers and joined the business in 2021.

Dietmar has a speciality in connectivity and telephony services, although you can speak to Dietmar about any NVT Group service and he will be happy to assist with any of your IT enquires.

Graeme joined NVT Group in 2011 and is one of the Systems Engineers on our Service Desk.

His favourite movie is Trainspotting and the city he would most like to visit is Miami.

Arran joined NVT Group in June 2021 as a Modern Apprentice. Although he will receive training across all NVT Group departments during his Apprenticeship, his main role is to provide support services on our Service Desk to NVT Group clients.
