Stephen spent his early sales career with Canon UK.  In 1983 he started with Novotech Microsystems as Sales Director.

In 1988, Stephen founded NVT Computing.

In January 2006, having created the NVT Group of companies, Stephen changed roles from Sales Director to Managing Director.  In his eleven year tenure as Managing Director, he delivered greater profitability for the Group and doubled turnover.

In November 2017, Stephen became Group Executive Chairman of NVT Group Ltd.

Stephen is self-motivated, with drive and enthusiasm for ICT and is now a 30+ year veteran in the industry.  His hobbies are golf, skiing and walking.

Hamish Fraser became a Director of NVT Group in January 2013, having been a member of the senior management team since 2005.

Hamish has had a very successful tenure as Head of Business Solutions, where his responsibilities included bid creation and achieving client business objectives via the development of operational ICT improvement programmes.

He has led the larger scale public and private procurement opportunities which have contributed to the Group’s growth year on year. In 2012, Hamish led the bid team for the Technology Services Integrator contract awarded to NVT Group by the Commonwealth Games Federation for Glasgow 2014.

Hamish was appointed Group Managing Director of NVT Group in November 2017.

Dougie was appointed as Group Operations Director on 1st April 2021.

Dougie joined NVT Computing in 1995 and reached his 25 year anniversary with the Group in 2020.

During this time, Dougie has held a number of different roles, initially as Systems Engineer, followed by Pre-Sales Manager and then most recently as Group Sales Director where he managed NVT Group’s Business Development Team.

Dougie is now responsible for the smooth running of NVT Group’s day-to-day Operations, including the management of our Systems Engineers, Service Desk and Projects teams.

George joined NVT Group as Group Finance Director full time in May 2016.  For eleven years prior to that he provided accounting services to NVT Group on a part time and ad hoc basis as a consultant.

George trained in the profession, becoming a partner in Macharg Hourston Macfarlane in 1993.  The firm merged with two others to become French Jarvie Macharg later in that year.  In 1996, he was enticed into industry by the firm’s largest client, the Castleview Group.  George would spend seven years with Castleview Group before setting up his consultancy business, specialising in accounting systems and projects.  George brings a wealth of accounting knowledge and experience to NVT Group, which facilitates the development of back office systems and processes.

Irene is the PA to NVT Group’s Board of Directors and joined the business in 2013.

Irene also manages our reception desk & administration teams and looks after our internal HR processes.

She is fully engaged in our ‘NVT Cares’ initiatives, sits on our charity fundraising committee and is an influencer in our Young Persons Focus Group.
