LEN European Short Course Swimming Championships 2019
From 4th to 8th December, Glasgow hosted the 20th edition of the LEN European Short Course Swimming Championships.
Held every two years, the 2019 event saw over 500 athletes from all across Europe make their way to the Tollcross International Swimming Centre in Glasgow to compete in 40 short course (25 metres) swimming events, across 5 days of fast-paced swimming action.
The event was hosted by British Swimming in collaboration with partners Glasgow City Council, Event Scotland and UK Sport. Following the roaring success of the inaugural European Championships in 2018, the city welcomed Europe back to British soil to crown 40 new European Short Course champions.

Official Technology Services Integrator
NVT Group supported the event as Official Technology Services Integrator. Specifically, NVT Group provided telecommunication services, internet access/connectivity and network integration services, to ensure a successful championships. We also had teams on site to provide ongoing support services during the competition.
This was NVT Group’s sixth world-class sporting engagement since 2014 and our third in Glasgow, after the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and the Glasgow 2018 European Championships.
