Five Nines – Turbo charging your IT infrastructure and reducing latency

Today we are announcing the details of our next Five Nines event – Turbo charging your IT infrastructure and reducing latency.’

The event takes place on Wednesday 5th August, from 12 noon until 2.00pm.

Event synopsis:

Low latency with high availability is the life-blood of any high demand application such as SQL database.  When transactions are slow, it is often a direct result of disk contention at the storage layer driving up storage I/O latency, which directly translates into a slower end-user experience.  Reviewing your storage and database infrastructure can make it dramatically faster and dramatically easier to manage.  At our seminar, we will present how the latest products from our technology partners Pure Storage and Microsoft, when configured together in a reference architecture, can provide high performance and maximise your investment in database technology.

Graham Stevenson, Marketing Manager, said: “Five Nines is a series of events we have developed to help businesses achieve 99.999% data availability.  Our first event in May was well attended and we expect this one to be equally popular.  Some of the benefits we’ll discuss at the August seminar include: simplified design, very high IOPS, consolidation of workloads, improved availability, easier management and reduced year on year costs – all supporting the objective of 99.999% availability.”
