Today, 2nd February 2015, sees NVT Group launch a two week campaign on the subject of data protection.
“Data Protection Fortnight” sees the Bellshill based Technology Services Integrator aim to educate businesses on the ever increasing importance of data protection and provide advice on how businesses can better protect themselves from the often disastrous effects of data loss.
The campaign is in direct response to recently published research findings which say that data loss is a significantly growing problem for businesses and yet most of those businesses feel ill-equipped to combat the issue.
Graham Stevenson, Marketing Manager of NVT Group said: “We created the campaign after we were alarmed to find that more than half of businesses consider data protection to be critical to their success but nearly 80% admitted they weren’t confident they could recover their data in the event of, say, a catastrophic hardware failure.”
NVT will launch the campaign on its web site at www.nvtgroup.co.uk/dataprotection and through targeted e-mail communication. As part of the campaign, the firm will be urging its customers to consider reviewing their data protection and recovery strategies to see if they are taking any unnecessary risks with their data.
Graham Stevenson said: “We will also be sharing advice and quick tips through our social media networks and the digital campaign will be supported by a series of advertisements in The Herald’s business pages throughout the fortnight.”
Any businesses which would like to review their data protection strategy should call NVT Group on 08453 893 300.
