Team NVT are getting their walking boots on once again for this year’s Kiltwalks. We will be getting involved in not one, not two, not three, but FOUR Kiltwalks this year, which are taking place all over Scotland.
The first of the four Kiltwalks this year takes place in Glasgow on 28th April, starting at Glasgow Green and finishing up at Moss O’ Balloch Park. Team NVT will also conquer the 23 mile ‘Mighty Stride’ across the Aberdeen (2nd June), Dundee (18th August) and Edinburgh (15th September) events, resulting in an extraordinary total of over 92 miles! Last year, Managing Director Hamish Fraser (pictured below) completed two Mighty Strides, and is getting ready to take on all of them this year for our charity partner, ENABLE Scotland.
We’ve been involved in the Kiltwalk for the past three years. It is a truly fantastic event that thousands of people get involved in to raise money for their chosen charity. Each year, the Hunter Foundation, who underwrite the charity event, boost all donations by 40%, allowing everyone’s fundraising totals to go even further.
We are taking part in this fantastic event to support our long-term charity partner, ENABLE Scotland, which conducts great work, championing equality for people who have learning disabilities in Scotland. We have set ourselves an ambitious target of raising £8,000 for the charity this year, and we will be getting involved in various events to reach this. We hope you will support us along the way!
Help us reach our target by donating on our Just Giving page here. Any donation, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated and will go a long way in supporting the amazing work of ENABLE Scotland.
